Cycling and Mountain biking

An astonishing fact is that in Bulgaria, cycling is difficult to achieve, despite the increasing development of this type of transport in other European countries, due to the lack of appropriate infrastructure. Fact On the other hand, there are a lot of possibilities for mountain biking because a great percent of Bulgarian territory is covered by mountains.
Almost all the sights and attractions, which you can find on tiéfimbalkan website, can be reached by a mountain bike.

Camping

Usually camping is inherent to people practicing mainly alternative forms of tourism and recreation. The places where the campsite is suitable, together with the information available to them, as well as easy accessibility, allow tourists to find new destinations for them.
On a mountain, a sea or even a festival, the availability of campsites complements the attractiveness and color of the region’s tourist supply. The known (although not regulated by the respective authorities) campsites in Troyan are several.
In the summer, the Vidima riverbank next to the village of Debnevo turns into a large camping site, where many people spend the summer weekends and some of their holidays.Deep in balkan is located Hat  “Ambaritsa” (built in 1953, 1495m altitude), the chalet of which, together with a group of enthusiasts in recent years, organised and held a great Alpine Blueberry Festival.
The campfire, the music, the mountain, the blueberries, the stars … Ambaritsa .
A few years ago, Troyan became recognisable also on the map for tourists traveling
to their own homes on Wheels-Kempers.

Water World

Although Troyan is a long way off the Black Sea (the tourist emblem of Bulgaria), water is in abundance here. A profound nature resource of mineral and thermal water gushes in the depths of the Balkan, which makes Troyan a popular SPA destination all the year round. Just imagine how after a whole day at the ski-run or a hiking in the mountain you dip into thermal water nearly 50C, surrounded by a thick snow cap. Or you could cool yourself in the healing mineral water during summer heat. In the region of Troyan, a large number of people are still practicing “wild” bathing in the rivers, which are flowing through and beside the villages.
